"sincere thanks for your hospitality. I enjoyed the stay. The hotel was most comfortable. I require a comfortable bed and a functioning, hot shower and the hotel came through with flying colors. Everyone at the desk was very cordial, and I really did have a very pleasant stay. If ever I ...need lodging in Harrison, my choice will be the Seville"
Absolutely perfect stay. The staff were great, the rooms are unbelievable, the restaurant was great, I think it is a matter of time before the word gets out. Not much to critique, what I would say is this: I think you need to work on the website for these reasons: 1. You can't really tell from the website how nice the suites are; 2. My group was concerned that staying at a "restored hotel" meant staying at something like the Arlington or Crescent, i.e., small rooms and even smaller bathrooms, more importantly outdated bathrooms and rooms. What my group liked the most is the fact that they were staying in a historic hotel but, but the historic part really stopped at their room door and had all the amenities as if they were a modern hotel. They couldn't stop talking about the bathrooms, these guys travel all the time and I think they were expecting Arlington type rooms. Everybody uses the internet to book rooms and I think you just need to photograph the whole thing, you spent a ton of money, I think you need to show it off. The patio, the suites, the restaurants, the whole nine yards.

The response from all of our board members was positive. We had a fine time in your fine city.
The rooms that we stayed in were clearly clean and prepared for us. The private dining room was appropriate for our gathering.
The service that we received over at the restaurant/bar after dinner was excellent.
S. Newton - Arkansas Trucking Association
"My friends checked out today with awesome compliments for the Hotel Seville, your friendly/helpful staff, the beauty/comfort of your rooms, and their complete enjoyment of their stay at the Hotel Seville. You have much to be proud of, and as a community member I too am proud of the beauty, history, restoration, and management of the Hotel. Congrats!"
Joe B.
"I was recently at the Hotel Seville. It literally blew me away. My first job was as a bellhop there - so I have fond memories of the hotel. The Seville is the landmark building for Harrison and the town is fortunate that you have more than restored it to its former grandeur. I wish you much success."
"I was thrilled to read in the Memphis Commercial Appeal's Sunday newspaper an article about the Missouri/Arkansas Ozarks that included a picture of the Seville. It brought back many memories, because I grew up in Harrison... was married June 20, 1954 in the First Baptist Church that USED to be across the street from the Seville... and had my wedding reception in the Seville."
"In the 50's it was a beautiful setting for many happy events. It is wonderful that it has been preserved and renovated. I'm sure it is now again 'the place to be' in Harrison."
"Please pass along my congratulations to the owners from a woman who celebrated 55 years of marriage this year and whose BIG DAY began at the Hotel Seville."
Jeanette Sanderlin of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission
It was wonderful. I loved my room and everyone was so complimentary of the
hotel and the renovations that were made. Loved the setting of John Paul in
the evening with the live music. Thank you for all you did.

Lake Harrison Marketplace Music Series continues February 11th
Still on the Hill and 3 Penny Acre will return to Harrison and The 1929 Lyric Theater for an Ozark Mountain Music Valentines Concert. The concert, part of the Lake Harrison Marketplace Music Series will be held Saturday, February 11th at 8 pm in the Lyric Theater. “Great Date” lodging and ticket packages are available through the Hotel Seville, located within the marketplace and begin at just $89.
Since 2001, The Still on the Hill duo of Kelly Mulhollan and Donna Stjerna have toured steadily and produced six CDs. Both Kelly and Donna are accomplished songwriters and play a plethora of acoustic instruments including acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and harmonica. The group's repertoire is primarily their own original, roots-based compositions (a genre hybrid they term "folkgrass") interspersed with new arrangements of traditional songs. The twosome has also created several very popular children's shows and educational workshops which they perform under the name Toucan Jam.
Still on the Hill are members of the Hall of Fame at the Northwest Arkansas Music Awards; several Ozark Music Awards for "Best Folk Group of the Ozarks" and "Best Guitarist" (Kelly).
3 Penny Acre is a musical collaboration between three up and coming songwriters: Bayard Blain, Bernice Hembree, and Bryan Hembree. Fans and critics have quickly identified their unique, Ozark-inspired sound as distinct, yet universally appealing. Listeners in all corners have begun to appreciate their attention to lyrics, harmony, and carefully crafted acoustic arrangements steeped in roots music traditions but with a focus on fresh, new songs.
Shortly after forming as a band, 3 Penny Acre won the 2008 Walnut Valley Festival (Winfield, Kansas) NewSongs competition. The exposure the win brought 3 Penny Acre helped to solidify their path as emerging artists. In the 18 months that followed, they toured extensively throughout the nation, were invited as an official showcase artist to the 2009 and 2010 International Folk Alliance Conference, and released a debut album that was selected as one of the Top 40 albums of 2009 by Norm Mast and Al Kniola of The Back Porch 88.1 WVPE (Indiana) and won “Album of the Year” at the Northwest Arkansas Music Awards.
The Lake Harrison Marketplace Music Series is a partnership with the 1929 Hotel Seville, Historic Harrison Business Association and 1929 Lyric theater and is an attempt to bring known music to the marketplace with a minimum of six dates per year coupled with providing regular entertainment within the marketplace. Jack Moyer, an owner of the Hotel Seville stated "We started the music series on New Years Eve with The Cate Brothers and are pleased follow that successful effort with Still on the Hill and 3 Penny Acre. By bundling great music, our marketplace dining and of course an evening at the Seville we have quite an attractive offer for locals and visitors alike."
Moyer stated that he hoped that the concert series will be well received and attended by the Harrison community. For well known acts and to keep ticket prices affordable the music series relies upon a minimum of 150 attendees and at least 20 overnight guest rooms to hit the break even point.
The Valentines Weekend event will be held at the Lyric Theater on February 11th at 8 pm. Tickets are available at The Hotel Seville or online at reserveeureka.com. The “GREAT DATE” room and ticket package is available beginning at just $89 and may only be reserved through the Hotel Seville at 870 741 2321.
